TERMS OF SERVICE

Version 2026-08-06

These terms cover your use of Skipper, team management software for youth sports organizations. By creating an account you agree to them.

What Skipper is

Skipper gives a sports organization tools to run its teams: rosters, schedules, practice plans, lineups, statistics, training, and — depending on the plan — dues collection and a team store. Your organization decides how it uses those tools. Skipper provides the software; it does not run your program, coach your team, or supervise your players.

Who can have an account

Your organization's role

Coaching staff at your organization can see rosters and the contact, emergency, and medical information families provide. They decide who on their staff holds which role. Disputes about what your organization collects, or who there can see it, are between you and your organization — though we will help where we can.

Acceptable use

Content you provide

You keep ownership of what you enter. You grant Skipper the permission needed to store it, display it to the right people in your organization, and process it to run the service. If your organization uploads a logo or artwork, it confirms it has the right to use it, including for printed merchandise.

Payments

If your organization collects dues or sells merchandise through Skipper, payments are processed by Stripe under their terms, and card details never reach Skipper. Refunds, fees, and what a payment covers are set by your organization, not by us. Merchandise is printed and shipped by Printful; delivery times and quality are subject to their terms.

Notifications and messages

Skipper can send notifications about your team. Operational messages — a cancelled practice, a schedule change — are part of the service. Reminders and prompts can be turned off at any time in Settings, and you can set quiet hours or pause them entirely.

Availability

We work to keep Skipper running, but it is provided as-is, without a guaranteed level of availability. Do not rely on it as the only channel for anything genuinely urgent. Emergency and medical information stored here is a convenience for coaching staff; it does not replace calling emergency services or carrying your own copy.

Safety. Skipper is a record-keeping tool. It does not verify medical information, supervise activities, or make decisions about a player's fitness to participate. Those remain with your organization, its coaches, and you.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Skipper is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or losses arising from your organization's decisions. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending your account

You can ask your organization or Skipper to delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts someone at risk. If your organization stops using Skipper, its data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will ask you to agree to the new version the next time you sign in, and we record which version you agreed to.
